SoftGroup® SaTT Web Connect (Release 2.0) provides advanced functionalities that support essential business processes and bring value-added features

 

 

Sofia, Bulgaria, July 10, 2024 – SoftGroup, the best-in-class end-to-end traceability technology provider in the CEE region, successfully deployed Release 2.0 of SoftGroup® SaTT Web Connect, the web application that provides a connection to National Medicines Verification Systems (NMVS) of EU FMD-compliant countries.

 

 

SoftGroup® SaTT Web Connect, Release 2.0 levels up the solution as:

• Migrated to a new technology to improve supportability and future development, hosted on Microsoft Azure
• Refactored the Authorization, Verification, and History APIs to use new technology, making it more secure and improving performance
• Reworked the national system certificate handling to improve system maintainability

 

 

The advanced solution features include:

• Two-factor authentication (2FA) enables the users to monitor and safeguard their most vulnerable information and networks, by adding a layer of security to the authentication process;
• Improved NMVS response message display, showing additional data attributes;
• GUI redesign that completely amended the user interface with big user experience improvements;
• Improved user settings to make it more user-friendly.
• Reports Improvements: organizational reports added; additional option for subscription for reports in PDF format; additional recipients to the subscribed reports added;
• Advanced list of scanned packs on the verification page;
• New parameters in the user log which will collect the information into scan history together with other scan data (i.e. order number, customer info, etc.);
• History page improvements.

 

 

SoftGroup® SaTT Web Connect is intended to serve all stakeholders such as wholesalers, pharmacies, self-dispensing doctors, or hospital pharmacies, that fell under the European Falsified Medicines Directive 2011/62/EU (the FMD) and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/161. The stakeholders must connect to the NMVSs, which enables them to verify and decommission each prescription medicine pack and thus protect the patients by keeping the legal drug supply chain safe from falsified medicines. The advanced Release 2.0 enables the connection between the stakeholders and the National Medicines Verification Systems (NMVS) of EU FMD-compliant countries such as Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Greece, and Italy.
