Back in Q3 of 2023, Azerbaijan announced that it is working on the development of a national Track and Trace system – the Drug Persecution and Tracking System (DVTIS). At the beginning of 2024, the track and trace system and mandatory serialization were introduced. Since then the country has been working quite proactively on enhancing the Track & Trace system and achieving supply chain excellence.
However, we know that each new regulation and subsequent requirements could raise some concerns and cause some pressure on the supply chain participants.
