Serialization in Armenia Becomes Mandatory in 2026
If your products are registered in Armenia, your company must comply with the national serialization regulation, based on GS1 standards, by early 2026.
Don’t wait until the last moment. Plan your compliance now.
From 2026, all medicines marketed in Armenia must be labelled and reported to the country’s official national system.
Key requirements include:
Generating and managing a 2D Data Matrix code containing unique GTIN, serial number and a cryptographic verification protection (crypto code and crypro signature) issued by the Armenian AIC MT (E-mark) system
Reporting each pack’s data to the national system
Printing a 2D DataMatrix code on each saleable pack
Ensuring data flow between all supply chain participants
If your company doesn’t comply, your products will not be allowed on the market.
